Students earning a B.S. degree in Business Management are required to complete 121 credits, including the university core curriculum (41 credits) and the business program core. The major allows the flexibility to minor in a wide array of related areas such as entrepreneurship or marketing.

Majors that comply with the Pompea College of Business (CoB) core will complete the following courses as part of the 41-credit University Core Curriculum:
Core Competency 3 - Mathematical and Quantitative Literacy
- C3T1: MATH 1107 - College Mathematics with Embedded Review (or equivalent or higher)
- C3T2: BANL 1100 - Introduction to Business Analytics
Core Competency 5 - Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
- C5T1: BUSA 1000 - Introduction to Business and Entrepreneurship
- C5T2: ECON 1134 - Introduction to Microeconomics
Core Competency 7 - The Individual and Society
- C7T2: ECON 1133 - Introduction to Macroeconomics
Majors that comply with the Pompea College of Business (CoB) core are not restricted in the way that the Writing Across the Curriculum requirement is satisfied.
The Pompea College of Business Core: 29 credits
Business Major: 18 credits
Concentration Electives: 21 credits
Free Electives: 12 credits
- 12 credits chosen in consultation with the advisor.
These credits can provide advanced material, either in the major or in course work, which reflects emerging issues of importance. Students should consult with their academic advisor for course selection.
