The Associate in Arts in General Studies is designed for affiliated external students. Students complete credit-bearing classes which result in an Associate's Degree. The Associate in Arts in General Studies provides students with the opportunity to explore intellectual interests that are not realized through existing degree programs. The interdisciplinary nature of the General Studies program affords students exposure to a range of academic disciplines.
Program Outcomes:
- Present clear information in an organized way in a public setting.
- Synthesize evidence and ideas within and across disciplines to draw reasoned inferences and defensible conclusions.
- Analyze the interconnectedness of their chosen areas of study and the ways in which these will help them achieve personal and professional goals.

- C3T1 - MATH 1104 or MATH 1108 or higher
- C5T1 - Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
- Any Tier 1 course from Core Comptency 4, 6, 7, 8, or 9
- Any Tier 1 or Tier 2 course from any competency
- Any Tier 2 course from any competency
