This 12-credit certificate is intended for individuals seeking to start a new nonprofit, expand an existing nonprofit, and/or hold leadership roles within nonprofit organizations. The program includes details related to: developing a new nonprofit - the legal and financial requirements, and other nuances associated with nonprofit organizations; strategies for building relationships with funders and community partners and to maintain relationships with volunteer employees as well as board members and other stakeholders.
Program Outcomes
By the end of this certificate program, students will be able to:
- Develop a proposal for a nonprofit.
- Apply for grant opportunities.
