Public Service Minor

|
Return to: Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences
The minor in Public Service provides students with an opportunity to explore the rich variety of definitions and applications of public service; to develop an appreciation for the organizational, legal, and ethical challenges associated with providing public service; and to develop strategies for using their skills for the advancement of the public good and leading others to do the same. Through the minor, the School of Public Service seeks to provide intellectual support for all student in the university who have an interest in public service regardless of their college affiliation or major within the university. Part of the appeal and value of public service is that applications of public service are found in a wide variety of settings. Consistent with UNH's rich history of providing public service, the complexities of the global community, and the wide interests of our institutions' students, the minor consciously adopts a broad-based, flexible, and multi-disciplinary approach.
