EGRM 6627 - Value Engineering and Design

Prerequisite: EGRM 6609 or equivalent. A framework for optimal design based on internal and external issues related to value-added criteria is provided. Topics to be covered include: function analysis and costing, the technology roadmap, and techniques involving customer-oriented product concepts in the areas of performance, maintenance/service, user friendliness, and quality.
