NUTR 6630 - Food Systems Management


Prerequisite: NUTR 6620 . Prerequisite or co-requisite: NUTR 6631 . This course looks at the food system through the eyes of a dietitian. From the production and growth of the food, farming practices, GMO, organic production, etc., to the management of a food service location and the duties associated such as procurement, food safety, menu/facility design, and basic financials. 3 credits.
