CSCI 2215 - Databases and SQL

Prerequisites: CSCI 1166 or MATH 1166 , CSCI 1110 or CSCI 2210 or CSCI 2212. Emphasis on comprehending database concepts and developing a practical level of skills in a current database software package. An introduction to data modeling and normal forms, introduction to Standard Query Language (SQL), Query By Example (QBE), security, and report generation. Students develop and implement a modest database project. 3 credits.
