ARBC 1110 - Intensive Arabic I Intensive Arabic I is a six-hour course equivalent to Elementary Arabic I and II combined. This course establishes a basic foundation in reading, writing, listening, and speaking Arabic with special attention to the alphabet and conversational rudiments. It also cultivates the ability to comprehend oral and written texts and produce brief units of spoken and written language with an awareness of the differences between modern standard Arabic and colloquial Arabic. 6 credits
