HIST 3359 - World War I: Passion and Desolation This course explores the causes and consequences of World War I, which was the shockwave that ushered in the twentieth century. The nature and experiences of diplomacy, military campaigns, and propaganda will be fully examined to understand this catastrophic conflict in broader political, social, economic and cultural contexts. 3 credits
