A total of 30 credits are required for completion of the master of science degree in sport management. The program consists of six sport/facility management core courses, and four sport management or business elective courses. Students who have not taken a managerial accounting course and a financial accounting course (and received at least a B or higher grade in that class) before starting the program will need to take ACCT 6620 Financial Accounting for Managers as one of their elective courses.

Above is a sample list of available sport management electives. Students are allowed and encouraged to take any other College of Business graduate courses as possible electives. A number of classes are offered online and can help a student finish the degree more quickly.
