PHAS 6065 - Evidence Based Medicine

Prerequisite: successful completion of 37 credit hours within the Physician Associate program; co-requisites: PHAS 6012, PHAS 6032, PHAS 6042, PHAS 6052, PHAS 6060. Students learn how to frame a research question, understand types of sampling methods, interpret basic biostatistical methods and gain an appreciation of the limits of medical research. This course also instructs students on how to access databases and the appropriate use of research data and published standard of care recommendations. 1 credits.
