PHAS 6032 - Clinical Assessment III

Prerequisites: successful completion of 37 credit hours within the Physician Associate program, PHAS 6031; co-requisites: PHAS 6012, PHAS 6042, PHAS 6052,PHAS 6060, PHAS 6065. The final semester in this three-course series builds upon skills learned in Clinical Assessment I and Clinical Assessment II. Students expand their assessment and clinical reasoning skills as they work through labs, small group work, and simulated patient encounters with a wide variety of acuity and complexity. Students also learn advanced exams and special tests used in the evaluation of disease in the male genitourinary, female reproductive, musculoskeletal, and neurologic body systems. 3 credits.
