PHAS 6020 - Professional Issues

Prerequisite: acceptance into the Physician Associate program; co-requisites: PHAS 6000, PHAS 6001, PHAS 6010, PHAS 6030, PHAS 6040, PHAS 6050. This course provides the student with essential knowledge about the Physician Associate profession. A wide range of topics are explored, including history of the profession, legal and regulatory issues, policy driven practice, peer and supervisory relationship building and professional organizations. 2 credits.
