PHAS 6050 - Pharmacology I Prerequisite: acceptance into the Physician Associate program; co-requisites:PHAS 6000 , PHAS 6001 , PHAS 6010 , PHAS 6020 , PHAS 6030 , PHAS 6040 . Lecture-based course provides an introduction to pharmacotherapeutics and basic pharmacologic principles and therapeutics used in disease treatment in a body system (modular) format. Psychiatry, hematology, oncology, dermatology, and the head, ear, eye, nose, and throat modules are included in this course. This course is the first in a three course series and is sequenced with the Clinical Medicine I and Clinical Assessment I courses. 3 credits.
