PHAS 6050 - Pharmacology I

Prerequisite: acceptance into the Physician Associate program; co-requisites:PHAS 6000, PHAS 6001, PHAS 6010, PHAS 6020, PHAS 6030, PHAS 6040. Lecture-based course provides an introduction to pharmacotherapeutics and basic pharmacologic principles and therapeutics used in disease treatment in a body system (modular) format. Psychiatry, hematology, oncology, dermatology, and the head, ear, eye, nose, and throat modules are included in this course. This course is the first in a three course series and is sequenced with the Clinical Medicine I and Clinical Assessment I courses. 3 credits.
