Policy on Electric Scooters and Electric-Transportation Devices

All electric scooters and other electric-transportation devices, such as hoverboards and e-skateboards, are banned from campus. This policy prohibits the use, storage, and charging of these transportation devices on all University of New Haven property. Such items found on campus will be impounded, and users will be subject to University sanctions.

Exceptions to this ban will be made for electric bicycles, provided users follow all applicable traffic regulations, do not bring their e-bikes into any University facility, and secure them in outdoor bike racks.

Electric mobility aids for individuals with disabilities are also exempted from this MPTV ban.
